As a demonstration of our confidence in the quality and performance of Amundson products, we offer our customers fair and equitable warranties on our products. Coverage varies, depending on the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for each product. Each product listed in www.amundson.ca will display the MSRP for that product.
All rod section replacements that are deemed out of unconditional warranty are subject to a flat $20 shipping fee.
HOW DO OUR WARRANTIES WORK?
Warranty Forms
ELIGIBILITY
At this time only customers residing in Canada and the United States who have purchased Amundson products from our authorized dealers are eligible for coverage under our consumer warranty. ORIGINAL PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED.
*Consumer warranty does not include commercial use. Please see “Commercial Warranty guidelines” below.
START A WARRANTY CLAIM
Step 1: Fill out the warranty form
Download, print and fill out our Warranty Claim Form telling us your name and contact details (address & phone number), where you purchased the product, the product name/number and a description of the problem. The file is in .pdf format, so you will need Adobe pdf reader to view it. If you do not have Adobe, you can download it for free HERE.
If you do not have access to a printer, simply write this required information down on a piece of paper and include it with your return.
Step 2: Ship the item/s back
For replacing rod sections: customers simply need to send us about 15 cm of the female end of the broken section in a small envelope. Please send 15 cm of the male end when necessary, such as replacing a butt section. This is for us to match up the color and diameter to give you a good-fit replacement. Please remember to include the warranty information.
For reel repairs or replacements: customers need to send back the reel to the Amundson office. Please remember to include the warranty form. Reels include a schematic diagram of the internal and external parts for reference. If you know the parts that are broken and know how to fix your reel, email or call the Amundson office and let us know the parts you need with the appropriate part number. Then you don’t need to send the reel back to the Amundson office. If you are unable to identify the broken parts or the repair is beyond your capability, please send the reel to us.
Send the product back to us with the original proof of purchase and a copy of the warranty claim information. Purchasers are responsible for shipping warranty products to Amundson at:
ATTN: REPAIRS
Admunson Outdoor Products Ltd.
#188 - 1538 Cliveden Ave,
Delta, BC, Canada V3M 6J8
We will get in touch with you as soon as we receive your package to continue with the warranty process. If you need to talk to us at any moment, please Contact Us.
COMMERCIAL WARRANTY
All fishing rods/reels used for business purposes, such as commercial fishing/use, guiding, charters, etc. include a 180-day limited warranty. Claims will need to be sent back to Amundson for evaluation and proof of purchase is required.
For any other products purchased for business purposes please refer to the Consumer Warranty.
