Wind Warrior Saltwater Fly & Spey Reels | ||||||||||||
| The Wind Warrior Reels were originally developed for saltwater salmon fishing “on the fly”. It’s robust design is now appreciated by both freshwater spey and saltwater flyfishers alike. The reel is almost “bomb-proof” in design, yet due to use of modern metalurgical compounds in it’s construction and additional porting, it is the lightest weight reel in it’s class. The Wind Warrior Reel is equipped with powerful, self-lubricating disc drag system that can be finely adjusted with the handy tension adjustment knob. The enclosed reel frame is protection against knocks and drops, yet at the same time may be palm-braked. The retrieve knob is of a very dense rubber material to help eliminate the “cold hands effect” while cranking. The reelfoot stanchions are oval-shaped to enable leaders to be safely wrapped around them, without damage. Includes neoprene case and spare drag rollers. |
