Claude Cipelletti-Okanagan, BC:
Born in Quebec, Claude started fly fishing at an early age. Since moving to BC in the early 80's he has fly fished for most of the province's species, in fresh and salt water. Claude is most at ease(and obsessed with) fishing rivers and streams, enjoying varied methods of presenting the fly and teasing the fish. Flyfishing is a lifelong pursuit and at every opportunity, he can be found on Okanagan lakes and streams or wet wading the streams of the East Kootenay.

Ian Stubbs, Fraser Valley of BC:
A 32 year veteran of the Canadian Navy,
Ian has "sort of retired" on the banks of the Chilliwack River to become a committed, fulltime, Fishing Bum. An outwardly hard and grizzled individual, Ian's heart is as big as a mountain.... and twice as hard. An incredibly gifted casting instructor, with both single-hand and spey techniques, he spends many hours passing on his casting talents to those who are truly committed to learning.
"Single or two handed fly all the way.."

Brian Thomas, Kamloops, BC:
Kamloops offers almost an unlimited choice of different lakes to choose from, and lake fishing is something I enjoy immensely.
But the real passion in my life is fishing with spey rods on moving waters. Part of my yearly routine finds me drifting and fishing some of the most beautiful waters in Canada on the mighty Skeena tribs. I wouldn't miss it for the world. It helps that my dream is to become a full-time stealhead bum, of course. But I spend more time on my local waters with light-weight spey rods, chasing trout.Tying my own flies helps when the rivers and lakes are iced over brings the sport full circle and continues to fuel my life-long passion for fly fishing.

Tiana Nordstrom, Alberta:
Originally from the West Coast, Tiana grew up on the ocean, fishing for salmon and learned to fly fish on the interior lakes and rivers of B.C. with her family. Always lover of the outdoors, she has been fly fishing for 20 years. Tiana is an accomplished fly tier and an executive board member of the Hook and Hackle club. After moving to Alberta 10 years ago, the multitude of lakes sparked a love for early season pike and spring chironomid fishing. However, her passion lies in the perfect dry fly presentation to eager trout on the streams located in the foothills of Southern Alberta's Rocky Mountains. Currently living in Calgary, she can sometimes be found practicing her Spey casting on the Bow River.
